Starting a new collabrative project with a Miss Alice Weaver combining my images and her wonderful drawing and painting skills.

Been searching for a starting point and found some lovely work to inspire us.

This reminds me of The Moomins for some reasons all folky and colourful.


I also wanted to show you some work ive begun, not sure where its going though.

Pinhole

Thought I would start work on my Pinhole Camera again,
Ive wanted to do some for ages and finally think Ive got time to start some new experiments.
Thinking of dotting some around Colchester in busy and quiet areas, just got to make it now!

Posting some inspiration soon too.

SlackSpace Exhibition

Last month has actually been busy with new work!
Currently in a group exhibition in SlackSpace Gallery in Colchester on the Local Area, it quite exciting to be exhibiting again, i was a little disappointed with my frames but happy with the images.

There is also the amazing work of James Dodds in there too, local artist making linocuts of the eastern coastline.

Im hoping it goes well, and maybe I can get started on more new projects.

first films

....deep breath

yes i used my camera for the first time since june, it felt so good.
however, jessops chose to stratch a big line through my entire film. grrr.
but i want to put them up anyway as a kind of personal acheivement!
winter is truly here to stay, it is beautiful outside but i miss being able to travel.
heres a few from suffolk countryside, covered in snowy goodness.
